Volunteer Opportunities
We have various volunteer opportunities available for you to contribute your time and skills. Whether you’re interested in engaging with the children, assisting with activities, or providing support to families, there’s a role for you to make a difference. Our volunteer positions include:
- Activity Volunteers: Engage with the children, play games, and assist with arts and crafts activities.
- Family Support Volunteers: Provide support to families, engage in conversations, and offer a helping hand.
- Administrative Volunteers: Assist with administrative tasks, event coordination, and logistics.
Volunteer Requirements
To ensure the safety and well-being of our volunteers and the children we serve, we have certain requirements for our volunteers. These include:
- Age Requirement: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
- Background Check: All volunteers are required to undergo a background check.
- Orientation and Training: Volunteers will participate in an orientation session and receive training specific to their roles.
- Vaccination: An annual flu vaccine is required for all Wheels volunteers.
